Breathing Life into Bronze
Man and Boy, Brixham

Welcome

My passion for sculpting is split equally between the figurative and the stylised; I especially enjoy sculpting subjects from Greek mythology and my classical female forms are recognised as being full of grace and beauty. I have won several national competitions, and my work can now be found in many national and international private collections.

I welcome both public and private commissions whether it be a family portrait, a sculpture for your home, garden or office or something monumental for a town centre. If you have an idea in mind please  get in touch.

Agatha Christie Sculpture

January 2022

I’m thrilled to have my design chosen by the public and am really looking forward to getting started on the sculpture of Dame Agatha Christie with her little dog ‘Peter’ .

A huge thank you to everyone who voted for me.

SPECIAL PIECES

Commissions

I welcome both public and private commissions whether it be a family portrait, a sculpture for your garden or something monumental for a town Centre

My most recently completed major sculpture ‘Man and Boy’ was a community project. I was heavily involved with, not only proposing and sculpting the figure but also moulding the piece.

Sculpting Classes

Anyone can sculpt. It is very much a learned skill and  you don’t need to have any kind of inherent artistic ability to get started.  There are many materials you can use for sculpting, but the most common and easiest to teach and learn with is clay. So why not give it a go?

From time to time I run sculpting courses. Here you will learn sculpting techniques as well as basic anatomy using a life model and sculpting in clay. I’ll show you how to measure, to assess muscle and bone structure and to capture the feel of the pose and the life, character and vitality of the model.
